alex-galvin.jpg Alex Galvin – Director / Producer / Writer
Alex Galvin was born in 1975 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He is a graduate of the New Zealand Film and Television School and has a BA from Victoria University, Wellington. He has directed three short films: A Chance Meeting (2004), Up the Creek (2004) and One Last Goodbye (2005). He is a member of the Screen Director’s Guild of New Zealand, the New Zealand Writer’s Guild and the New Zealand Opera Chorus. He has also written, edited and directed numerous corporate videos. Before working in film, Alex worked as a speechwriter for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in Parliament. His first novel, One Endless Day, was published in 2006.

Matthew Sharp was born in Scotland, and has lived in New Zealand since 1997. He is a graduate of the New Zealand Film and Television School. His Director of Photography credits include the short films: Juiced, directed by Gabe Paige, Newscast, directed by Daniel Urlich, One Last Goodbye, directed by Alex Galvin, 11 Seconds Late, directed by Richard Douglas, Knell, directed by Ben Davis and Salesmen, directed by Gabe Paige. He has also worked as Lighting Assist on many projects, including: King Kong, Eagle vs. Shark, Insider’s Guide to Love, Blackspot and the band Shihad’s recent Music Video.
gavin-laurie.jpg Gavin Laurie – Visual Effects / Post-Production Supervisor
Gavin Laurie has over ten years experience working in television and film postproduction. He has worked for local and national television channels in the United Kingdom, including Granada Television; and freelanced for major television channels such as the BBC and SKY Television. In 2006, Gavin took over Sirocco Post Production Studios (formally Toolshed TV) as Co-Owner and Chief Technical Operator.

Tony Burt has worked for many years in the music industry as a musician, composer, recording engineer and producer. Since 2003, Tony has composed film scores and the sound design for the short films: Splinter, One Last Goodbye, In Limbo, Road Chill and Touch Tone Justice. He has produced the award winning short documentary, (Passion and Conflict. Te Aurere me te Papaa) based on the 2004 hikoi (march) to the New Zealand Parliament. Recently, Tony started the production company CREATIVE SPACE, and is producing an extreme adventure documentary, corporate communications, and with a television series and short films in development.

James Partridge is the Director of JPMC Limited (Marketing and Communications). His 10 year career in Marketing has seen him work in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and work for major organisations such as The National Bank and Public Trust. His experience covers a range of Marketing disciplines - including Marketing Strategy, Marketing Management, Communications and Promotions. He also manages a Jazz Band (Otis) and is a keen supporter of the Arts - promoting new New Zealand films.
Richard Waterhouse – Visual Effects / Associate Producer
Richard Waterhouse is a graduate of the 3D Design and Animation Course at The National College of Design and Technology in Wellington, and has worked as a full-time tutor there since July 2005. His Visual Effects Supervisor credits include the short films: Juiced, directed by Gabe Paige and One Last Goodbye, directed by Alex Galvin. He has also worked on the on the television commercial New Zealand Army: Emergency Scenario and has just completed work as Post Production Supervisor on the short animated film Up Eel Creek.
